The 500mm lens has returned at last, so had to obviously go and give it a test run to make sure all was as it should be with it. I went to over to the local seashore as high tide was ebbing away.
A couple of gull shots first to get back in the swing of things.
A few Turnstone are starting to return now, some still showing summer plummage.
I ran into a Common Tern which was running along the edge of the water and cocasionally diving for small sandeels.
