Stonechats Re-visited

As the last visits to look for some stonechats was cut short, I thought I would give them a further look. The female typically posed on top of some coastal gorse.
Sometimes a simple stick will do as a suitable look-out post.
The male always close-by
and alert from his raised perch

Well worth the "revisit". Hadn't realised what a great colour they are. I still haven't seen one! However with your pictures as reference I shouldn't miss one if it does fly out in front of me... Jane

I've been browsing your posts since I last visited your blog a couple of weeks ago. Your work is beautiful. Love the ducks and bunnies, but songbirds are my very favorite thing, and these are stunning - the first one is my favorite. Just lovely images.

Many thanks for your comments. Its a rare for me to pass a stonechat without trying to get a photo, despite already having many, they are very endearing birds.

Cheers

Rich
