The winter migrants will be heading north soon, so I thought I would give them another visit.
The birds listen to the soil, for worms below. 
I also recently came across a group of skylarks. A bird that I always love to photograph. A number of the birds were ascending skyward in song flight, which seems to be early in the year, but much appreciated.

Thanks for the replies. I am just about to post some more 'thrush' shots. March is the month I usually go out to take some photos of skylarks with the bonus of the occasional northern wheatear towards the end of the month. Spring is always a busy time and the unusual can always turn up as migration gets under way.
